Teachers, students and support staff from Windsor-Essex continue to fight cuts to education.
"Stop the cuts, please I'm begging you, stop the cuts," says Grade 4 student Angelo Lucier.
A rally was held on Tuesday in front of the Greater Essex County District School Board building at Park St. W.
It was going on while trustees from the board were approving the 2019-2020 budget.
Adelina Cecchin is the President of the Greater Essex County Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario.
She says everyone is concerned the cuts are going to be permanent.
"I think that this is just the beginning and I think that's the concern with a lot of the trustees, with teachers, parents and the public that this may just be the beginning and if this is just the beginning we have another four years and what's going to be at the end of this realm of quality public education," says Cecchin.

Kristen Garrett-Spanswick is the President for the Educational Support Staff Bargaining Unit for the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation.
She says the membership is feeling stressed.
"It's a tough time of year, school's coming to an end and you're looking at changes for next year," says Garrett-Spanswick. "The main concern is support for students and a concern that the Ford Government is looking to change those supports."
Essex New Democrat MPP Taras Natyshak and Windsor-Tecumseh New Democrat MPP Percy Hatfield also took part in the rally.
Earlier this year, Premier Doug Ford and Education Minister Lisa Thompson announced funding cuts to education.
