Parents, staff and students at a Forest Glade elementary school in Windsor have rallied around a Grade 6 student who has been diagnosed with cancer twice.
Kaleb Houle attends Eastwood Public School and in 2014, he was diagnosed with stage four non-hodgkins lymphoma.
He beat it but this past February, he learned the cancer came back.
He is currently going through chemotherapy every few weeks in London and once he is in remission, he will undergo a bone marrow transplant in Toronto.
Doctors will harvest Kaleb's own bone marrow but if that isn't an option, his sister is also a perfect match.
On Wednesday, the school held a fundraiser to help the family with expenses.
"It is really awesome and I feel like people support me," says Kaleb Houle. "I appreciate their support."
Kaleb says he has had cancer before and beat it, so he will just do it again.
Kaleb's mother Jennifer Houle says her son is a very proud young man.
"There are rough days, there are days that he does not feel well but Kaleb doesn't want anybody's pity. He doesn't want anyone to look at him and say he's not well," she says.
During the fundraiser, Dan Kane Chevrolet lent a 2017 Grand Sport Corvette so Kaleb and his dad could go for a ride.

The Houle family say they are overwhelmed with the response to the fundraiser.
The goal was to raise $1,300 in the fundraiser but organizers say they well exceeded the goal.
