The Ontario government has announced the next 76 grocery stores across the province that can sell beer and cider as of June 30th.
That includes the Walmart Supercentre at 7100 Tecumseh Rd in east Windsor.
It joins the Real Canadian Superstores on Walker Rd. in Windsor in being allowed to sell beer and cider.
The Real Canadian Superstore in Leamington, as well the Zehr's in Kingsville, have already been authorized to sell beer, wine and cider.
The province says the eventual goal is to approve the sale of beer and cider in 450 grocery stores including 300 that can also sell wine.
