Getzlaf scores the winner as Anaheim trims Calgary

The Anaheim Ducks pulled out a 3-2 win over Calgary in the NHL on Wednesday.

Ryan Getzlaf's goal six and a half minutes into the third period turned out to be the game winner.

Mark Jankowski tied it for the Flames with a short-handed tally before Getzlaf beat Mike Smith just 27 seconds later.

Matthew Tkachuk also scored for Calgary.

Jakob Silfverberg and former Windsor Spitifre Adam Henrique also scored for Anaheim, and Ryan Miller stopped 37 shots.

Four Canadian teams are in NHL action Thursday, including the Montreal Canadiens hosting Buffalo.
