Emergency responders find a vehicle on top of a gas meter in Oxley
A 29-year-old Essex man faces charges after choosing a gas meter for a parking spot.
Emergency services were called out to the 100 block of Ridge Road near Gore Road in Oxley about 9 last night.
They found a small black motor vehicle resting on top of a gas meter that was leaking.
The driver was still in the vehicle and had to be escorted away from the potential hazard but did not suffer any injuries.
Provincial Police determined the driver was showing signs of impairment and was arrested.
29-year-old Christopher Koziana of Essex is charged with impaired driving and exceeding 80 milligrams pf blood alcohol.
