A Wallaceburg man who suffered a gunshot wound at the Dresden Raceway has been released from hospital.
Chatham-Kent police say following the shooting Saturday at 11pm, the scene was secured and searched by members of the Critical Incident Response Team.
The area was examined and the traffic unit deployed a drone.
Police have been in contact with the Centre of Forensic Sciences to analyze evidence.
The victim, 58-year old Dwayne McFadden, was initially transported to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and then transferred to London for medical treatment.
Police do not believe there are any public safety concerns and the circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation.
