Crash Monday morning closed Howard for hours
Charges have now been laid following a serious crash in Windsor earlier this week.
Police were called to Howard at Ellis Street East around 4:20 Monday morning.
Officers arrived to find a black Volkswagon with severe front end damage and the driver suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Investigation has determined the car collided into the rear of a transport truck.
The 31-year old driver from Windsor remains in hospital in serious but non life-threatening condition and he was arrested on charges of impaired driving.
