A stunt driving charge has been laid against a 26-year-old driver from Windsor.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Essex County say a vehicle was stopped on Highway 3 in Tecumseh early Friday morning after going 147 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

Police say the driver’s licence has been suspended for 30 days and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.

The OPP says stunt driving puts everyone at risk, and officers continue to enforce speed limits to ensure safety of all road users.
