Dozens of Charges Laid Following Vehicle Safety Blitz

The OPP, Windsor Police and the MTO held a two day blitz.

Dozens of charges have been laid following a commercial vehicle safety blitz across Windsor-Essex.

It was conducted by the OPP, Windsor Police and the Ministry of Transportation over a two-day period this week.

In all, 47 inspections were conducted and 60 charges were laid including 27 involving vehicle maintenance, 17 surrounding driver conditions and 16 various other charges.

Three licence plates were also seized.
