The clean-up is underway after a house fire near downtown Windsor.
Crews responded to 338 Bruce Ave., just south of University Ave., around 6am. The house is subdivided into multiple units. Fire officials say the fire was located in a first floor unit.
Neighbour Darryl Ivey tells AM800 News he was watching TV with his partner when he heard sirens nearby.
"Sabrina looked outside after they (Windsor fire) parked two doors down and I opened up the back door to our place and I saw smoke and that it was engulfed in flames and I said 'hunny let's get out' just in case it spread," says Ivey.
Everyone inside the home got out safely according to Windsor fire officials.
No word on the cause of the blaze or a dollar figure on damages.
