The Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association's (DWBIA) website has received a facelift.
According to DWBIA Chair Brian Yeomans, the new site is designed to attract visitors and residents to the downtown core and assist business owners in achieving their goals.
Yeomans says it's been more than a decade since the site has been upgraded.
"One of our first priorities was to overhaul the website to be more responsive and be a lot easier to navigate," says Yeomans. "If you look at anybody's website, if they're not responsive to a mobile phone, which is where most people use websites now.".
The site has incorporated what businesses are open during the COVID-19 pandemic and some help for business owners, according to Yeomans.
"We've put a lot of information from the municipal, federal and provincial levels so they know what is happening and what kind of aid there is for them," he says.
He says several satellite sites have been moved to the main webpage as well.
The site also includes a directory for the DWBIA's 600 businesses, available parking and investment opportunities.
