A longtime anti-poverty activist has found a new place to continue his work.
Former Pathway to Potential director Adam Vasey is joining the Downtown Mission.
He will be the Director of Advocacy and Outreach with the mission.
Executive Director Ron Dunn says the mission is more effective in advocating for people who are hurting and struggling with poverty and homelessness.
In a release, Dunn says Vasey "brings a deep base of knowledge, community connections, experience and compassion for vulnerable people who are living in poverty.
He will add strength and wisdom to our leadership team as we work with our community partners to improve the conditions of people who hope for a better life and fulfillment,"
