The Downtown Mission is all smiles after a donation to its Community Dental Clinic.
The United Church of Canada Foundation has donated $10,000 to the mission to help it purchase dental care-related equipment and supplies.
The clinic is set to open in July as part of the Downtown Mission's Wellness Centre located on the 3rd floor at 875 Ouellette Ave.
The clinic will be a fully functioning dental care office for vulnerable people.
According to Ontario Oral Health, 2.3-million people in Ontario can not afford dental care.
