The Windsor Spitfires avoided a three-game losing streak with a high-scoring win over Sarnia in Saturday night OHL action.
Ruben Rafkin's goal late in the second period stood as the winner as the Spitfires downed Sarnia 8-5 at the WFCU Centre.
Windsor centre Curtis Douglas had three points on the night, collecting a goal and two assists. The 2018 Dallas Stars draft pick also finished the game with a +\- rating of +5.
Daniel D'Amico, Dylan Robinson, Louka Henault, Thomas Stevenson, Egor Afanasyev and Tyler Angle also scored for Windsor.
Ryan Roth had a pair of goals for the Sting, while Eric Hjorth, Calvin Martin and Anthony Tabak each scored once in the loss.
Windsor's next game is Thursday at home to Flint in a game you can catch on AM800 beginning at 6:30pm.
