The 10 Rotary Clubs of Windsor Essex have built "Donation Mountain."
For the fourth year in a row, the annual "Socks and Bottoms" campaign has resulted in a truck load of donations for the local Homeless Coalition.
Rotary Past President Rotary 1918, Janet Kelly says the donations are all from members of the 10 local clubs.
"We get a truck load, literally," says Kelly. "It's really nice because we believe that people who are struggling should have nice things and that makes life a little bit easier."
Homeless Coalition Community Developer, Angela Yakonich says the donations are divided between the agencies in need.
"I put a call out to the 25 plus homeless coalition agencies and tell that it's happening. So we'll meet and everybody can shop based on what they need for their agency," says Yakonich.
All donations will be distributed through the "Care Share" program sponsored by the Homeless Coalition. Socks, underwear and other items such as gently used coats and sleeping bags were all donated.
