Windsor police are investigating after a fire on Windsor's near east side.
Police were called to a property Tuesday around 1:00pm in the 1300 block of St Luke Rd. between Walker Rd. and Drouillard Rd.
There was a fire at the rear of the property where officers learned that a dog was chained up, in a compound and died in the fire.
Windsor fire was able to extinguish the blaze upon arrival.
It's not known yet if the fire was intentionally set.
