The Wheatley Sharks will be looking to fight off elimination Wednesday night at home.
They currently trail the Lakeshore Canadiens 3-0 in the first round of their Provincial Junior Hockey League playoff series.
Sharks head coach Josh Carnevale says the team is trying to stay positive.
"We just have to take it one shift at a time. We can't look at it as being down 3-0, we've got to look at it as we need to win one game and go forward from there. Just focus in on winning one shift at a time and build off of that," says Carnevale.
He says his team isn't down because of a lack of effort, adding "the guys are playing hard for the most part. Aside from maybe two periods out of the nine that we've played, we've really been competitive. That's what we have to do to be successful and if we don't then we don't get the results.
The Sharks lost to Lakeshore 7-3, 4-3 and 3-0 in the first three games of the series.
If game fiveĀ is necessary, it will be played Friday at 7pm in Lakeshore.
