Novak Djokovic had to work for his fifth Wimbledon crown over Roger Federer.

He becomes the first player in 71-years to win the title after facing match-points in the final. It took five tiebreakers to decide the winner on Sunday but Djokovic came out on top: 7-6 (5), 1-6, 7-6 (4), 4-6, 13-12 (3).

That makes it two Wimbledon titles in a row for Djokovic who now has 16 Grand Slam trophies.

He currently sits in third place all time behind Federer's 20, and Rafael Nadal's 18 Grand Slams.

Sunday was Federer's record 12th appearance in the title match, but Djokovic is now 3-0 against Federer in the Wimbledon finals.
