Don't be alarmed if you live in Windsor and notice some discolouration to your water.
EnWin is conducting its annual Water System Flushing program starting April 29 to October 4.
The measures are taken to make sure there is a safe level of water hydrant pressure.
The initial area of flushing is bounded by Tecumseh Rd., Division Rd., Howard Ave. and Riberdy Ave. from April 29 to June 7.
Customers in the targeted flushing areas may notice a change but EnWin assures customers it is not harmful.
The water should clear up after running the tap for several minutes.
The utility also recommends people fill some containers with water, avoid doing laundry and try not to run any hot water taps.
