Michael DiPietro of the Windsor Spitfires has been named the Canadian Hockey League goalie of the week.
The Amherstburg native posted a 2-0 record with a 0.96 goals-against average and a .969 save percentage.
DiPietro also back-stopped Team OHL to a 3-1 win over Team Russia in the Canada-Russia Series in Sarnia on Monday.
The 19-year-old was a third-round pick of the Vancouver Canucks in the 2017 NHL draft.
DiPietro is currently second among OHL goalies in goals-against average (2.18) and tied for third in save percentage (.926).
