Despite a strike by workers at the local branch of the Canadian Hearing Society, some services are continuing.
Workers, including those in Windsor, have been on strike since March 6.
They are represented by CUPE and say there has been no wage increase in four years.
Meanwhile, the Canadian Hearing Society is working to re-open more programs and services for deaf and hard of hearing clients.
It is currently offering community walk-in assistance clinics for counseling clients with urgent needs at seven locations throughout the province including Windsor.
