The crown has wrapped up its case in the sexual assault trial of a Windsor family doctor.
Dr. Bassam El-Tatari, 45, pleaded not guilty to six counts of sexual assault against six different women, all former patients.
The defence called its first witness, a London family doctor who is an expert witness at 'intimate examinations and procedures.'.
Dr. Ann Kimber Spence reviewed the medical charts of the different patients and found the exams were done properly.
"He had done what I would have expected," said Dr. Spence when testifying about a pelvic exam Dr. El-Tatari performed on a patient.
Another complainant testified during the trial that Dr. El-Tatari had squeezed her nipple, but Dr. Spence told the court that 'milking the nipple is something she would do and would expect others to do.'
