The deadline is approaching for residents in Windsor, Tecumseh and Lakeshore affected by the September floods to apply for provincial help.
The deadline for the Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians program is January 31st.
So far, the program has received 450 claims and has disbursed $75,000.
The program helps people, small businesses and not-for-profit organizations cover emergency expenses and repairs to replace essential property following a natural disaster.
Damage caused by sewer backup is generally not eligible under the program.
More than 3,000 homes in Windsor-Essex suffered damage from the downpour.
The Insurance Bureau of Canada says the claims in Windsor, Lakeshore and Tecumseh amounted to about $108-million in damages.
