The curling rink and nearby land are up for sale at the Kingsville Golf and Country Club.
Club General Manager Doug Quick says the idea has been discussed since 2008.
He says the building was built in 1964 and with participation in curling dwindling, it was time to put the building and nearby 4.5 acres on the market.
He says the property is zoned residential.
"The town was re-doing the official plan, we thought it would be in the best interest in our future to zone it residential and there is a condo corp next door and it would be a good blend of residential housing there," says Quick.
He says they've been in discussions with the curling club and it is not a contentious issue.
It's a "Sale by Tender" so interested parties would look at the property and make an offer to purchase.
