A busy night for firefighters in Leamington.
Fires broke out at an apartment building and the local Walmart at around 10pm Tuesday night, according to tweets from Leamington Fire Services.
A woman was taken to hospital after a fire that broke out on McGaw Ave. that caused $175,000 damage — no word on the extent of her injuries.
The fire is believed to have been caused by cooking in a third floor unit.
No injuries were reported at the Walmart on Erie St. S where a fire was contained to a small portion of the roof that was being worked on earlier in the day.
Damage is estimated at $10,000 andt the store will re-open today.
