The remaining animals have since been corralled back to their pen
One person was sent to hospital as a precaution after some cows escaped from their enclosure south of Chatham and caused a crash.
It happened around 2:00am Thursday when a vehicle driving on Eleventh Line near Horton Line, struck two of the escaped bovines.
Two of the cows were killed and there was significant damage to the vehicle.
The remaining animals have since been corralled back to their pen.
