A cheque worth close to 20,000 was donated to the Fight Like Mason Foundation
A country party in Essex County netted a big cheque for a local group raising money for kids cancer.
The 'Country At Heart' concert, organized by the Dan Gemus Real Estate Team, held on April 14th raised a total of $26,477 and the majority of it will be going to the Fight Like Mason Foundation.
About $7,000 of the funds will be going to the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation.
In the last two years, the event has raised a total of $50,000.
