Windsor City Council has taken a step back in time to commemorate the city's 125th anniversary.
A re-enactment of the first city council back in 1892 included present day councillors dressed in 1800's era clothing.
Mayor Drew Dilkens says today's council holds the same values as the one back then.
"That it's important that we all play our part and keep delivering for the citizens of Windsor and do what's right for them and keep building on the success we've had in the past in growing our city and making it a very successful and prosperous place."
Dilkens says it was a unique opportunity to do something different to mark a significiant milestone.
"We're looking back in a very light-hearted way," says Dilkens. "This is really a fun thing to do as opposed to a serious presentation of what would have happened in 1892."
Dilkens counterpart in 1892, the very first mayor of Windsor, was Oscar Fleming.
