Transit Windsor will again be offering a corporate bus pass to city employees in Windsor.
The program is used by other businesses in Windsor, but ceased at city hall a few years ago because of renewal difficulties.
Transit Windsor Executive Director Pat Delmore says the challenge in the past was employees would have to come to transit offices every month to pick up a pass.
Now, Transit Windsor can handle everything more simply through re-loadable SmartMedia cards — much like Tim's cards.

Delmore says there has been demand at city hall for the passes.
"We have had in the past couple years a couple of employees raise that issue with us and it actually came as a council question," says Delmore. "We responded, we sat back and looked at how we could manage and provide that service — it worked out quite well. Moving in and around the downtown core is always a challenge, so we're hoping that some people may consider using transit. Get dropped off at the door at city hall rather than having to park a great distance away."
Delmore says the service has seen increased ridership with its new University Pass and hopes to see the corporate pass see similar popularity at city hall.
Delmore says communications for city staff are currently being prepared.
