Windsor ComiCon has wrapped up at Caesars Windsor.
Over 30 vendors and several guest stars, such as the original Incredible Hulk, Lou Ferrigno, attended the convention on the weekend.
The event also featured autograph sessions, vendors and kid zones.
Windsor ComiCon Public Relations Coordinator, Jeremy Renaud, says this year's ComiCon will be tough to beat.
He says he wants the event to be held annually.
"Thanks so much to the community for embracing this years event," says Renaud. "We hope that you come back next year and continue to support it, continue to build it. There is something here for everyone, we want to make it the annual community celebration of everything geekdom."
He says Windsor ComiCon continues to grow every year.
"I have been to the bigger events such as the Fan Expo in Toronto, Motor City ComiCon, other cons in other communities," says Renaud. "Obviously we are not at the level of the Fan Expo in Toronto but I do know that we are on par with London and Hamilton. You know, for a community our size I would say we are on the same level."
Renaud also says the event is a way for people to express their inner geek.
"It is great, we need something for our community to enjoy," he says. "Everyone here has something to celebrate, whether they have an attachment to something comic or geek related, this is just great."
Organizers are still assessing just how many people showed up, but ticket sales suggest this number exceeds last year's attendance of 6,500 people.
