Windsor police say a pedestrian has died following a collision at the intersection of Hanna Street East and Windsor Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.
Around 3 p.m., a vehicle travelling eastbound on Hanna Street allegedly drove through a stop sign and collided with a vehicle travelling northbound on Windsor Avenue.
Police said the force of the impact pushed both vehicles toward the northeast corner of the intersection, where one of them struck a pedestrian on the sidewalk.
The pedestrian, a 58-year-old man, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced deceased.
The intersection was closed as the service's traffic reconstruction unit investigated.

When asked about any pending charges, police said the investigation was ongoing.
