College football has announced its top four schools that will battle for a national title.
Michigan, Washington, Texas and Alabama were selected by the Playoff committee on Sunday.
Top-ranked Michigan faces Number-four Alabama in the Rose Bowl in the semifinal round, while second-ranked Washington takes on Number-three Texas in the Sugar Bowl.
The winners will square off in the National Championship game on January 8th.
Number-five Florida State was a surprise snub after finishing the season 13-and-0, culminating in an ACC Championship victory over Louisville on Saturday night.
Meanwhile, Georgia misses out on a three-peat bid after falling to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship Game over the weekend.
