The smell of natural gas forced an evacuation on Tuesday
Colchester North Public School will be open on Wednesday.
A malfunctioning valve has been repaired allowing the school to operate as normal.
Just after lunch on Tuesday, the smell of natural gas was reported and the building was immediately evacuated.
Students and staff completed their day at Essex District High School while the Essex Fire Department and Union Gas conducted an investigation.
