Colasanti's Tropical Gardens has been honoured for hosting a popular crime stoppers fundraiser.
During the Ontario Association of Crime Stoppers Annual Provincial Training Conference in Hamilton June 1-3, Windsor and Essex County was awarded the Community Service Award as Colasanti's has hosted the annual Crime Stoppers Game Dinner for 25 years.
At this year's event, about 600 people attended.
Crime Stoppers Program Manager Tyler Lamphier says every year, Colasanti's contributes hundreds of hours towards the event and it is willing to go the extra mile to help Crime Stoppers.
