Close to 2,000 people have had their say in a survey about a possible change to make it easier for retailers to stay open in Windsor on holidays.
The City of Windsor launched the survey on the city's website January 17th to gauge public opinion.
Windsor's Corporate Policy Coordinator Katherine Donaldson tells AM800 News, it received 1,905 response.
Donaldson says she's is pleased with the response and will review them to draft a report to Windsor City Council, hopefully in a couple of months.
The current by-law requires businesses to be closed on nine stat holidays unless they apply for an exemption.
The change would eliminate the need for stores to apply.
