The Windsor Clippers season has come to an end with a 9-6 road loss at the hands of the Orangeville Northmen. The Northmen, defending national champions, swept the Clippers 3-0 in the conference semifinals. The Northmen now advance to the western conference final to play the winner of the Six Nations-Hamilton series. Nations leads the series 2-0.
Noah Bushnell scored three times for the Clippers. Dylan Riley, Brendan Wallace and Andrew Garant scored the other Windsor goals. Liam Tomes suffered the loss in goal for the Clippers.
The Clippers will graduate six players.
Captain Andrew Garant, who departs as the all-time Clippers points leader, assistant captain Austin Thompson, defenders Jesse Macdonald and Phil Ristoski are all finished as well as offensive player Dylan Riley and goaltender Jacob Corra.
