There are going to be some residents with sore legs in Windsor-Essex.
About 2,400 people are taking part Wednesday in the iClimb event for United Way to support mental health and wellness programs.
They are climbing the 1,000 steps around the lower bowl of the WFCU Centre.
"Last year, we raised over $50,000 and this year we have more people participating so we are anticipating we can do better," says Karen Brady, marketing and communications manager at United Way.
Students, local community members and workplace teams have signed up for the fun event to raise money to reduce wait times for mental health services in the community.
