The Cleveland Indians extended their winning streak against the Tigers to 19 games on Saturday with a 3-1 victory at Detroit's Comerica Park.
It's the longest winning streak against any opponent in Indians franchise history.
It's also the longest losing streak in Tigers' history to a single opponent.
Saturday afternoon Shane Bieber struck out 11 in seven scoreless innings, and Cleveland beat Detroit for the 19th straight time.
Bieber (4-0) allowed three hits and a walk and lowered his ERA to 1.30 in five starts this season.
Bieber fanned the side in the third and fourth and added two more in the fifth.
Spencer Turnbull (2-1) gave up three runs on six hits and four walks in 4 2/3 innings.
