The majority of parents in the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board are sending their kid's back to the classroom during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Heading into the weekend, only half of the board's 20,000 students were accounted for in its back to school survey.
On Monday, the board reported 19,000 responses showing 72 per cent of elementary students and 81 per cent of secondary students will return to school.
The board will now reach out to the remaining 1,000 families to find out what their plan is for September.
