The City of Windsor wants to improve and expand online services.
Executive Director of Information Technology Harry Turnbull says the city is working on developing a new online service model called My Windsor.
He says the city already offers online services but wants to improve the model and make it easier for the community to use.
"They're a little spread out and if you wanted to access multiply services you have to do it different ways and have different passwords," says Turnbull. "So we're trying to bring that altogether and do a common experience so that no matter what service you want to access through the city, you would do it through the My Windsor approach."
Turnbull adds some services should be up and running later this year.
"We're hoping to have something in place, we'll get the branding and everything done this year and the public consultation," says Turnbull. "Some services that are easier to get out there we will start with those, so we would launch with those and just build over time."
Turnbull says any service the city offers over the counter, would be available on My Windsor.
The city is also looking for public feedback and has launched an online survey.
