Snow plow operators have almost cleared all the roads across Windsor following this weekend's record-setting snowfall.
As of 6:30am, 95% of the residential roads have been cleared according to Manager of Operations, Phong Nguy.
The Walkerville-Wyandotte St. area is one the last major sections of the city still in need of snow clearing along with some of the dead-end streets. Nguy is asking everyone to be patient, the plows will get there.
Nguy says they still have some salt trucks out dealing with icy spots. "The main roads are excellent. Due to the freezing temperatures there is a little bit of sloppy area. We are back on the main roads, so expect our salt trucks to be back on those roads."
Nguy says that city snow plow and salt truck operators have been working around the clock since the snow began on Friday.
