Its the fourth quarter payment for hosting the casino
Windsor is getting a cheque worth more than $2-million for hosting Caesars Windsor.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has issued a fourth quarter payment, for $2,169,255.
It's roughly the same amount as the same time last year.
During the OLG's fiscal year which runs from April 2018 to March 31, 2019, the city received $9,173,168.
Ontario's Minister of Finance Vic Fedeli says the OLG shares revenues with host municipalities to help them invest in local priorities such as community services and infrastructure.
