Windsor police have tracked down the man they were looking for in connection to a pair of alleged sexual assaults.
Both incidents occurred along the waterfront in the late evening involving a male suspect approaching women and assaulting them before running off.
The first happened on May 28 just before midnight when a woman was attacked from behind with no warning causing her to fall to the ground — during the assault the victim was bit.
The second incident took place on July 2 just after midnight — the female victim was touched inappropriately and assaulted before the suspect fled on foot.
The Major Crimes Branch was able to identify the suspect and on July 3 Chukuebuka or Jeffery Madumere was arrested in the 200-block of Bridge Ave.
The 24-year-old man from Windsor is facing several charges including Sexual Assault and Choking.
Due to the random nature of the crimes, police believe there may be other victims.
Anyone with information is asked to contact city police or Crime Stoppers.
