Windsor council has voted to go ahead with the last step in reintroducing fluoride to the city's drinking water.
Council heard from several delegates Monday night in opposition to fluoride, but with no debate passed the final bylaw needed to proceed.
Back in December, after a six hour debate and nearly 20 delegates on both sides of the issue, council opted to reintroduce fluoride by a vote of 8-3.
Reintroduction will cost the city $850,000 and then $150,000 a year for system maintenance.
Tecumseh and LaSalle share the city's water supply — two of three municipalities must agree to fluoridation, neither have made a decision.
Fluoride was removed from city water in 2013.
