The City of Windsor is ready when the province lets Windsor-Essex move into Stage 2 of the COVID-19 pandemic recovery.
Windsor remains in Stage 1, and while there are still many restrictions in place, officials say staff will be ready to ramp up services as quickly as possible.
Even with the preparation, the city will still need up to two weeks to get measures in place and staff prepared to return to work.
New signage, sanitizer and other safety precautions will be put in place at 350 City Hall Square and 1266 McDougall Ave.
When approval is given licencing, gaming and marriage services will resume by appointment only.
In person visits for tax support, permit applications and payment of parking fees will be allowed.
Outdoor wedding ceremonies will also move forward with a 10 person limit.
