The City of Windsor is trying to help small businesses as the province begins lifting restrictions to allow them to reopen.
The city is giving away free hand sanitizer to small businesses this Friday.
The hand sanitizer was made by Hiram Walker and Sons, along with BASF, but the bottles were supplied by Leamington's Highbury Canco.
The city says it will be offering hand sanitizer in 375mm bottles and one-litre bottles, with enough available this week to assist at least 500 businesses. A maximum of eight-litres per business will be handed out.
The hand sanitizer will be available through a no-contact drive-thru at the WFCU Centre, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m..
Motorists are being asked to enter through the intersection of McHugh Street and Mickey Renaud Way, and then follow the signage to the depot tents.
