The City of Windsor has issued a ticket following a fatal dog attack at a Windsor dog park.
In September, Windsor police were called to the Ford Test Track after a four-month old shih tzu was attacked and killed by a larger dog.
The shih tzu's owner Gina Bourque says the bigger dog was off leash in the small dog park area.
The city's by-law enforcement officers investigated and have issued a ticket for "permitting a dog to bite another animal without provocation."
The ticket is for $610.
Windsor's Manager of by-law enforcement Ann Kalinowski says the case is still under investigation under provincial legislation.
