A contractor will begin the process to control a noxious weed along the Ganatchio Trail.
The city says a contractor has been hired to apply a herbicide to control wild parsnip.
Wild parsnip is an noxious weed in Ontario.
The pesticide application is expected to begin on September 2 and is scheduled to wrap up by September 12.
It will occur along the Ganatchio Trail System in the Little River Corridor.
The contractor will be using a pesticide registered under the Pest Control Products Act.
