City fires crews were kept in the early morning hours Sunday.
First, Windsor fire was called to the 4500-block of Fontana Ave in south Windsor just before 2am.
Crews arrived to find flames and smoke coming from an attached garage.
Those who were home at the time were able to get out safely, but four people have been left homeless.
The cause is listed as undetermined with damage pegged at $80,000.
Shortly after that, crews responded to an apartment fire in the 200-block of Erie St. E.
That fire in an eighth floor unit was put out quickly.
Unattended cooking is getting the blame — there were no injuries.
