A cold, wet, winter has taken a toll on Windsor's roads.
More than 650 potholes have already been reported throughout the city and crews are working tirelessly to fill them in.
Windsor's Executive Director of Operations Dwayne Dawson says numerous crews are out patching.
"Crews are out both day and night, so of the more congested roads we do at night time to take advantage of the decreased volume of traffic," says Dawson. "We continue to battle the heaviest areas and try to make the most of with the manpower and materials that we have."
The constant freezing and thawing has heaved roadways and shook things loose.
"With the large snowfall the previous weekend, over 1ft of snow, multiple plowing and salting and then turning to a thawing condition receiving up around 70mm of rain recently it's really taken a toll on some of the roads," Dawson adds
The city bases where they focus their work on road use and the severity of the hole, according to Dawson.
He says even roads slated to be resurfaced this summer will be repaired.
Residents can call 311 to report road damage.
